The Filinvest Story
With the energy of youth and a pocket full of courage, they sailed to the big city with dreams of a better life.
Starting off with borrowed money and an office on the second floor of their home, they slowly but surely grew their company and raised their Family. Andrew was the idea man, a true visionary with a business acumen for opportunities and talent. His first recruit was a hesitant Mercedes, to take over when the cashier suddenly resigned.
Whatever forces in the universe that brought them together certainly got it right. They were perfect partners in love and in business. The practical Mercedes kept things running smoothly – the tireless implementer with an eye for detail. This formidable partnership gave birth to the Filinvest brand.
Continuing the Filipino dream.
The Filinvest story began with a dream. The vision of the Gotianun family, passed down through generations, continues to shape a brighter future for Filipinos.
Our founders laid the groundwork with dedication and innovation. Today, their children and grandchildren carry the torch, leading Filinvest Land with the same unwavering commitment to building exceptional communities. This legacy of excellence ensures a future where the Filipino dream and Filinvest Townships remain intertwined, offering a place to live, work, and thrive for generations to come.
Building A Legacy of Love
Once upon a time, there was a young Cebuano named Andrew. Being the youngest in his family, he was carefree, fun loving and fondly remembers pulling the braids of his pretty classmates. In his youth, his father and elder brother passed away and he suddenly found himself solely responsible for 3 generations of women. He saw life as one big adventure and undaunted, he salvaged minesweepers and became the breadwinner.
Meanwhile, a young Manileña named Mercedes was charting her own future. The eldest in a brood of 8, she consistently excelled from valedictorian to a magna cum laude graduate from the premier state university. She was ready to take on her Fulbright scholarship for masteral studies abroad, when their paths crossed.
It was a meeting of soulmates.
